How to Grow Mizuna Green Microgreens

  • Sow Rate: 5 grams per small, punnet-sized growing tray.
  • Pre-Soak: No pre-soaking required.
  • Growing Medium: Can be grown in soil or hydroponically.
  • Soil Method: Add 2-3 cm of soil to the tray and level it evenly. Moisten the soil before sowing.
  • Sowing: Sprinkle the seeds evenly over the surface of the soil and lightly water.
  • Germination: Cover the tray with another tray or a lid to promote germination. Store in a well-ventilated area, away from direct light, until the seeds germinate (usually 2-3 days).
  • Watering: Lightly water 1-2 times daily. After germination, uncover and place the tray in light. Continue watering as needed.

Harvest:

  • Harvest in 10-14 days when the microgreens are around 5-7 cm tall. Cut just above the soil line for best results.
