Get a FREE Pack of Garden Seeds
Seedmart Australia has recently launched an exciting new initiative aimed at promoting biodiversity and sustainable gardening practices—its very own seed library. The new seed library offers gardeners the opportunity to receive a FREE set of 8 vegetable seeds or a FREE set of 5 native seed varieties (limit of 1 pack per household). The only cost to participants is the delivery charge, making it easy for anyone, regardless of their gardening experience, to get started. These seeds can then be sowed in their own gardens, with the goal of enhancing local biodiversity and creating healthier, more vibrant ecosystems.
Save Seeds for Future Generations
By introducing a variety of plants into their gardens, participants are not only adding beauty to their surroundings but also helping to foster a healthier environment for beneficial insects, including bees and other pollinators. This is especially important as these insects play a crucial role in sustaining plant life and supporting food production. Seedmart Australia encourages gardeners to save seeds from their own plants, contributing to the cycle of seed sharing and cultivation. In doing so, gardeners help ensure that plant varieties are preserved and remain available for future generations.
Share Your Saved Seeds
In addition to receiving free seeds, participants are invited to share any seeds they save with other gardeners. We connect growers with others who are eager to exchange saved seeds. This creates a collaborative network of gardeners who can both share their knowledge and expand their plant collections, all while promoting sustainable gardening practices. The seed library’s model fosters a sense of community and collective responsibility for the environment, empowering individuals to contribute to the preservation and growth of local ecosystems.
