Did you know that around a third of our food supply depends on pollinators? This mix supports the health of honeybees, native bees, hoverflies, lacewings, ladybugs, and more — all vital to a thriving garden ecosystem.
Our mix includes a diverse blend of open-pollinated, heirloom, and untreated flower, herb, and green manure seeds. It’s designed to create a balanced, living habitat that attracts pollinators while improving soil health and natural pest control.
What’s inside?
A vibrant mix of annual and perennial plants, which may include:
- Flowers: Cornflower, Calendula, Sunflower, Yarrow, Alyssum, Nasturtium
- Herbs: Dill, Hyssop, Coriander, Lemon Balm, Fenugreek, Evening Primrose, Chicory, Bergamot
- Green manure species: Buckwheat, Red Clover, Vetch
Growing Instructions:
- Sow seeds directly by broadcasting over prepared soil and lightly rake in.
- Planting depth: 0.5 cm
- Season: Plant in spring or summer. In subtropical and warmer regions, sow until early autumn.
- Germination temperature: 15–30°C, depending on species.
- Germination time: 7–14 days
- Keep soil moist during germination, then water deeply but less frequently once established.
- Position: Full sun preferred; some species tolerate light shade.
- Soil: Moist, well-drained soil is ideal.
- Coverage: A 25-gram pack covers approximately 10 square metres.
- Recommended for planting in borders, vegetable gardens, orchard understories, or “wild” areas where plants can grow freely.
Flowering time: Many varieties begin blooming 6–10 weeks after planting, with continuous flowering into summer and early autumn.
