HERB ‘Thai Holy Basil Red’ Seeds

Botanical Name: Ocimum tenuiflorum

Quantity: 25 grams

Thai Holy Basil Red, also known as Tulsi, is a sacred herb in many cultures, prized for its medicinal properties and flavor. Intensely aromatic and slightly spicy, this basil is commonly used in Thai cuisine, particularly in traditional dishes such as Pad Krapao. Its clove-like fragrance adds depth to stir-fries, curries, and herbal teas. The branching, narrow-leaved plant forms a low bush, typically reaching about 50 cm (20 inches) in height, and releases a delightful perfume when brushed in the garden.

With deep fuchsia to dark red stems and flower stalks, covered in tiny pink blooms, Thai Holy Basil adds ornamental beauty to your garden. Thriving in heat and full sun, this basil is a fantastic choice for warm climates, attracting bees and other beneficial insects.
