Growing Pea Sprouts

Pea sprouts are simple to grow using basic equipment and require minimal maintenance. With the right conditions, they are typically ready to harvest in 4–6 days.

  • Pre-soak: 8–12 hours
  • Seed Rate: 20–30 grams per standard sprouting jar
  • Method: After soaking, rinse thoroughly and place into a sprouting jar or similar setup. Drain well and keep angled to prevent excess moisture buildup.
  • Rinsing: Rinse with fresh water every 8–12 hours, ensuring proper drainage each time
  • Harvest: Ready in 4–6 days depending on temperature and conditions
  • Yield: Approx. 1.5–2 cups per batch

Growing Methods

Pea sprouting seeds can be grown using a variety of simple systems:
