How to Use

Pea sprouts have a sweet, fresh flavor that makes them an ideal addition to a variety of dishes. Add them to salads, sandwiches, wraps, or toss them in your favorite stir-fry. They can also be used as a garnish for soups, casseroles, or smoothies. Their crisp texture and natural sweetness add a refreshing element to any meal.

Fast and Easy to Grow

Pea sprouts are one of the easiest and quickest crops to grow at home. In just 4-6 days, you’ll have fresh, nutritious sprouts ready to enjoy. Whether you’re a novice or an experienced grower, pea sprouts require minimal effort. All you need are pea sprouting seeds, water, and a sprouting jar to get started.

To sprout these seeds, you can use a sprouting jar, hemp sprouting bag, or a fine mesh plastic colander. The jar method is the most popular and easy to set up, requiring just a glass jar, muslin cloth, and a rubber band.

How to Grow Pea Sprouts:

  • Pre-soak seeds:

    8 – 12 hours.

  • Seed Qty:

20 – 30 grams depending on the size of your sprouting jar.

  • Method:

Rinse the pre-soaked pea seeds with cool water. Place them in your sprouting jar and fill it 3/4 full with cool water. Tilt the jar upside down and use a muslin cloth or sprouting lid to allow the water to drain. Keep the jar in an upside-down position for 8-12 hours, ensuring water doesn’t pool at the bottom.

  • Rinse and repeat:

Rinse your seeds with fresh water every 8-12 hours and refill the jar with cool water. Tilt the jar upside down again to allow drainage. Continue this process until your pea sprouts are ready to harvest.

  • Yield:

Approx. 1 1/2 – 2 cups of fresh pea sprouts per batch.
