Lettuce Romaine Little Gem Seeds – Bulk & Heirloom
‘Little Gem’ is an upright, compact mini-cos with a crisp, blanched, sweet heart and green outside leaves. The leaves are tender and juicy with a great flavour. It is useful for small spaces and containers. This is an excellent lettuce for Caesar salad. It is hardy, heat resistant and slow to bolt. This compact, butterhead lettuce variety can be grown in small spaces, all year round. Lettuce heads grow up to approximately 12 cm.

- Space plants: 20 cm.
- Sowing depth: 0.3 cm.
- Soil temperature: 8-27 °C.
- Days to germination: 7 – 14.
- Maturity: 60 – 70 days.
- Grow all year round.
- Part or full sun.
- Well drained soil. Keep well watered.
