MICROGREEN ‘Salad Mix’ Seeds

Salad Mix microgreens are a colourful blend of young, tender greens in shades of green, red, purple, pink, and white. They’re packed with texture and make a fresh, eye-catching addition to any meal.

Great for Everyday Cooking

This mix has a mild, balanced flavour that suits a wide range of recipes. Use it in salads, sandwiches, wraps, smoothies, and even as a garnish for dinner plates. It adds freshness without overpowering the dish.

Healthy and Nutrient-Dense

These microgreens are not just tasty—they’re packed with goodness. Studies show microgreens can contain up to 40% more nutrients than mature greens, including key vitamins and antioxidants.

Easy to Grow at Home

Salad Mix is beginner-friendly and grows well in soil or on hydroponic mats like hemp or paper towel. It’s a fast, rewarding crop with minimal fuss. You’ll have fresh greens ready to harvest in as little as 8 days.

Growing Instructions

  • Pre-soak seeds:

    No soaking needed.

  • Seeding rate:

    2.5 – 3.5 grams per small (punnet-sized) tray.

  • Grow medium:

Use a hemp mat, paper towel, or 2–3 cm of organic soil or coir peat. Level and moisten before sowing.

  • Blackout period:

Lightly water seeds, then cover the tray to keep out light. Store in a dark, well-ventilated area and water once or twice daily. Remove cover when the seedlings reach 3 cm.

  • Light and watering:

After removing the cover, place your tray in indirect sunlight. Continue watering gently twice daily.

  • Harvest:

Ready to harvest in 8–14 days. Use clean scissors to cut microgreens 1–2 cm above the soil.
