How to Sprout Colour Mix Radish Seeds
Radish seeds can be sprouted using a sprouting jar, a tray, a colander, or a hemp sprouting bag. Follow these simple steps to sprout using a jar:
-
Pre-soak seeds:
Soak 1.5 tbsp (around 20 grams) of seeds in cool water for 4–8 hours.
-
Method:
After soaking, rinse the seeds thoroughly. Place them in your sprouting jar and fill the jar 3/4 full with cool water. Drain the water through the sprouting lid, then position the jar upside-down at an angle to continue draining. Keep the jar out of direct sunlight but in a well-ventilated spot.
-
Rinse and Repeat:
Every 8–12 hours, rinse the seeds with fresh water, drain thoroughly, and return the jar to its draining position. Repeat this process until sprouts are ready to harvest.
-
Harvest:
In 3–5 days, your radish sprouts will be ready to harvest. Rinse well, drain, and enjoy immediately, or store them in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Radish Microgreens
Did you know you can also grow radish as microgreens? To grow microgreens, sow the seeds thickly over a shallow tray filled with a growing medium such as coco coir, hemp mat, or organic soil. Keep the medium moist but not soggy, and harvest the microgreens when they are 5–10 cm tall—usually within 7–10 days.
