Sweet Corn ‘Anasazi’ Vegetable Seeds
Botanical Name: Zea mays
‘Anasazi’ is an ancient, open-pollinated corn that grows to 2m high, producing 2-3 cobs per plant. As sweet corn, it needs to be eaten young when there are still speckles of white in the golden cobs. If left past this stage, it becomes multi-coloured and can be used as a flour corn. The dried cobs are very decorative with yellow, red, and black kernels. It is a very drought-resistant variety and can do well even on poorer soils.
