Product Inspection and Claims
Upon receiving your order, please inspect the contents promptly. If you notice any shortages, damage, or product defects, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery by emailing [email protected].
Claims made after 7 days may not be eligible for refund or replacement. Please include your order number and photos if applicable.
Warranty Disclaimer
Seedmart Australia guarantees that our seeds will conform to descriptions required by federal or state labelling laws. However, no other warranties are expressed or implied, including:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Performance under specific growing conditions
Our liability is strictly limited to the purchase price of the seeds supplied. We do not accept responsibility for incidental or consequential losses, including crop failure, loss of income, or environmental damages.
Germination Guarantee – 60 Days
We offer a 60-day Germination Guarantee from the date of purchase. If your seeds fail to germinate under normal growing conditions, and you notify us within this period, we will provide one of the following:
- A replacement of the affected seeds
- A store credit for the value of the seeds
- A refund at our discretion
We may issue a prorated refund if only part of the seed packet is returned. To make a claim, email [email protected] with:
- Your order number
- The affected seed variety
- A description of your growing method and conditions
- Photos (if available)
If your claim is accepted, we will email you a prepaid return shipping label. Seeds must be returned in their original packaging to be eligible for a refund, replacement, or credit.
Once we receive the returned seeds, we will conduct a germination test to evaluate the seed performance. After assessment, we will process your chosen resolution—whether a refund, replacement, or store credit—based on the outcome.
Limitations:

- No claims accepted after 60 days from purchase date
- Free or promotional seeds are excluded.
Many factors influence germination—such as soil temperature, moisture, sunlight, and grower technique—which are beyond our control. Even viable, high-quality seed may fail due to these variables.
Australian Consumer Law
This policy operates in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If a product fails to meet consumer guarantees (e.g. acceptable quality), you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.
