Turnip Purple Top White Globe Vegetable Seeds Organic
Introduced before 1895, the large, smooth, round root is purple above, white below. The flesh is very tender when young with a mild flavour. Use roasted, boiled or mashed. The leafy tops are good steamed and they are high in carotene and calcium. This is a very hardy vegetable and easy to grow. Days to harvest: 50.
