A very attractive, small pumpkin, weighs 2.2 – 3.6 kg with bright orange and green striped markings and raised ribs. It is grown for its large, dark green, completely hull-less seeds which are highly nutritious and delicious roasted. The seed also yields a valuable oil that is used to promote prostate health in men. The flesh lacks flavor but the chooks will appreciate it.

Sow Where: Directly into garden beds in full sun

Spacing: Space ‘hills’ 1 m apart; sow 3-6 seeds and thin to the 2-3 strongest
Harvest: 100 days: average yield: 2 – 3 fruits per plant; harvest pumpkins when fully colored and the stem is brown
