Cucumber ‘Giant Russian’
Botanical Name: Cucumis sativus
syn. ‘Gympie Gold’
‘Giant Russian’ is an excellent variety; the large fruits are yellow-skinned and the size of melons. The fruit is crisp, sweet, and acid-free. The vigorous vine keeps producing for several months. It is much more resistant to mildew than other cucumbers, making it particularly useful for humid subtropical and tropical areas. Used mainly for salads, pickling, and slicing.
