Chilli ‘Thai Hot’ Vegetable Seeds

‘Thai Hot’ is a classic, fiery chilli producing small, slender, upright fruit similar to ‘Birdseye Thai.’ The chillies ripen from green to bright red and deliver a strong, clean heat ideal for Asian cooking, stir-fries, sauces and drying. The compact plants are fast growing, highly productive and continue to fruit over a long period. On the Scoville heat scale, it typically ranges from 50,000–100,000 units and grows to around 60–80cm tall.

- Temperate: Early spring – inside with extra heat; outside after frost danger has passed
- Subtropical: Spring; All year but avoid January – February

Germination:

- Position: Full sun
- Sow Where: Into seedling pots, transplant when soil is warm
- Soil Type: Fertile, well-drained soil, pH 5.5 – 6.5
Spacing: 40 – 50 cm between plants
