MELON ‘Honey Rock’ Seeds

Botanical Name: Cucumis melo
Syn. ‘Sugar Rock’

‘Honey Rock’ is an heirloom melon introduced in 1925 that is an excellent choice for the home garden. It is a heavy producer with 5 to 7 melons per vine. The fruit has an exceptional sweet flavour with salmon-orange juicy flesh. The fruit weigh between 1.3 and 1.8 kg. Days to harvest: 85; harvest when the melon slips easily from the stem.

For limited spaces, consider vertical growth with support such as onion bags. Cultivate these melons in a warm environment with a long, hot growing season.
