Watercress Herb Seeds

Botanical name: Nasturtium officinale

Watercress is a perennial, hardy aquatic creeper that grows naturally in gently flowing streams, adorned with small white flowers throughout the summer. The young shoots and leaves are incredibly nutritious, boasting a spicy, peppery taste. Packed with health benefits, watercress is rich in vitamin A, C, calcium, iron, folate, and cancer-fighting compounds known as isothiocyanates. It’s a versatile herb used in salads, soups, and sandwiches. Watercress can thrive in ponds in full sun, very moist and partially shaded garden sites, or large, self-watering pots placed in the shade. Sow the seeds in spring or autumn. Suitable for all areas.
